It was a true page turner. I couldn't seem to put it down because something else was happening. It was well written and developed from the beginning. It ended in cliffhanger. I can't wait to read part 2. I hope it don't take long to come out. This is a banger can't wait to see what else this author has to offer her readers. ~Plagiarism and spinning: what’s the difference?~

Image
What is plagiarism? Stealing someone written and passing it as your own. Changing the name and places is still plagiarism.  You’re stealing their ideas and passing as your own.  Now general knowledge isn’t plagiarism. Example of Plagiarism~ Steele glanced in the direction Shock was looking. Steele and his men were sitting in a pub called Big Rigg that had heavy wooden tables and a rustic atmosphere. A woman walked toward one of the high tables at the bar where a suited man and a couple were sitting. He recognized the newcomer from the pictures of Craig’s sister that Killer had shown him. .................................... Deuce glanced in the direction Gunny was staring. Deuce and his men sat in an old Route 66 bar, called Big Red’s, decorated in a rustic old west theme complete with heavy wooden tables and a copper bar. A slender young man walked toward the high bar where a suited man sat with a couple–all of their gazes fixed on the young man’s a...

Book Reviews  If you want your book review hit me at msbrendaross@gmail.com Heart of the Unknown Alpha by Rae Scott Must Read ,  October 16, 2015 By Speak Your Mind Book Club on October 16, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition I like the story because it was different. It was entertaining and engaging. I like the story line. I love reading about werewolf and mating. I often have a hard time find a good story. This one a good one with twist and full of surprise. The pace of the story was steady. The character development was on point. I hope you write more paranormal stories. Biker's Baby Girl by Jordan Silver  Nice story, slow pace, October 18, 2015 By Speak Your Mind Book Club The story has potential but it drags. I like the character Creed and it starts off good. It has slow start but the story does pick up. Overall the story is ok I just wish the pace of the story was steady instead of slow. The story isn't engaging but I manage to finish it. Now...

What do you think of the price of most ebooks?

I've always wonder why you pay less for urban fiction versus paranormal fiction.  Don't get it twisted I love getting a book for 99 cent. I've found many great authors that way. Many authors complain about having to price there work so low. What don't recognize is readers, are taking a chance at well? I'm not paying a high price for author I don't recognize and then it turns out to be garbage.  Now I have found some amazing authors. I've purchase a book for .99 or free and ended up getting the entire series. For example I read Quin Loftis Grey Wolves Series. The book was free and it had 8 books in the series. The book prices range from 2.99 to 4.99. The first book was free. I even read the series the author had to offer. Another example is Official Girl by Charmanie Saquea it has four book in that series. I have read many of her other series as well.  I really don't understand if its a series. Now I stand a lone I can understand it being more. Don...

Speaking my mind got me booted out of Jordan Silver Butterflies.

Image
Book found at this Link~ Tryst by Jordan Silver Form your own opinion. Click Here I got kick out of a group for voicing my opinion. Jordan Silver's Butterflies. I still love her work and still will read. I'm not hurt by it. I simply blog about it and I guess the group didn't like it. Still will Support your work, Jordan Silver and your still one of my favorite authors. I just don't like when someone jumps down someone throat for their opinion. Some people are sensitive. Your amazing writer and one book negative feedback shouldn't stop you from writing. I only posted it to make a point of how quick people get upset if someone don't like one of your books. You've written more than thirty books and one book negative feedback don't reflect your work as a whole. This will be my last post about this topic. But I'm the type of person that  believe in speaking her mind. Why would you want someone to feed you crap. Everything you write will not be like b...

Criticism is necessary

I recently read Tryst by Jordan Silver . This book was not my cup of tea.  Often I read taboo stories all the time. I felt like this story didn't flow right.  It was confusing I had to read half the book to ideal  what the story about. So I went and voice that opinion in the author group.   That post was deleted because it was view as negative. That wasn't my intention at all. Still like the authors other work. Matter of fact I'm fan of Lyon Crew Series. Gabriel Promise is another favorite story. She has many stories that are amazing. When I discussing the story with few other members.  They got offended because they feel like we should never say bad things about author's work.  Criticism is healthy good and bad. I think if you can accept criticism you can do anything. Who care what someone thinks of you? I'm getting off the subject here. I wanted to have discussion to see what other thought of Tryst.  We started the discussion with positive ...

What's up everybody? Here is a little update.

Lately I had a lot on my plate. I have several books that are waiting on my reviews.  Now I'm back on track with my reviewing of books. I plan to post my latest reads that I have review. Must warn you that they all aren't good. Always try to give positive review but some books deserve negative reviews.  Some factors I look for when reviewing books is editing. Another thing I look for character develop. How the story flows?  Is the story-line different or like everyone else? Editing is important factor when reading something I paid for. Who wants to read something that isn't quality?   Currently Reading  Tryst by Jordan Silver Across the Track by Xyla Turner Plastic Sistas by Santiago Now I here are a few authors I recommend. These are only some that I read. If you looking some paranormal, biker, romance, alpha male, hood, and urban check out these authors. I have more authors that I read. But check out these  Kristen Ashley Xyl...

Introducing Mika Jolie.

Image
MIKA JOLIE  Click here to find books. Recent Review of Tattooed Heart Book 3 First I want to say the book was well written.  The story-line was unique from the ;many books I've read. Although it was a page turner. This one series that was good from book 1 to book 3. I receive this book from the author. After I read it though I went and got the other two books. I must say I wasn't disappointed. The books can standalone or be read together. Often series can't be read separate and still get a understanding of what is going. I did enjoy Claire and Forrest story. The book was edited and that is a plus. Most books have tones of mistakes and that takes away from the story. I love alpha men in stories. This had that but it had strong minded women as well. I like how other character from other two book where in there more as supporting characters. Love lasting over decade had intrigue with this story. I have to say well done to author. You officials added ...
