~Plagiarism and spinning: what’s the difference?~
Stealing someone
written and passing it as your own.
Changing the
name and places is still plagiarism. You’re
stealing their ideas and passing as your own. Now general knowledge
isn’t plagiarism.
Example of
Plagiarism~
Steele
glanced in the direction Shock was looking. Steele and his men were sitting in
a pub called Big Rigg that had heavy wooden tables and a rustic atmosphere. A
woman walked toward one of the high tables at the bar where a suited man and a
couple were sitting. He recognized the newcomer from the pictures of Craig’s
sister that Killer had shown him.

Deuce glanced in
the direction Gunny was staring. Deuce and his men sat in an old Route 66 bar,
called Big Red’s, decorated in a rustic old west theme complete with heavy
wooden tables and a copper bar. A slender young man walked toward the high bar
where a suited man sat with a couple–all of their gazes fixed on the young
man’s approach. Deuce recognized the newcomer from the pictures of Marcy’s
brother that Butcher had shown him. They didn’t do
him justice.
This is
excellent example of plagiarism. This is a real situation. It was published and
the person that plagiarist the story was force to remove it.
YOU’RE GUILTY OF
Plagiarism IF YOU COPY SOMEONE ELSE WORK OR CHANGE IT AND MAKE YOURS.
What
is spinning?
Basically you
take someone work and you change like above example. This is worse than simple
plagiarism. You take someone else work
and attempt to make it your own. I’ve seen this down on wattpad a lot. I’ve seen
it done in published work. Sense College I use a plagiarism checker on my
writing. I don’t want to steal someone else ideas. Author its important you
check site like wattpad to make sure your work isn’t being plagiarist. Some
don’t do it on purpose they get an ideal and don’t think about where it came
from.
